8 December 2021: DLC Special COVID-19 Network Hui Invite

DLC NETWORK SPECIAL EDITION COVID-19 HUI: WEDNESDAY 8 DECEMBER, 10.30AM - 11.30AM (ONLINE EVENT)

Disability Leadership Canterbury (EDLG Trust) are committed to supporting our community to navigate the current uncertainty around the anticipated arrival of COVID-19 in our neighbourhood.

We know that our DHB and Ministry of Health people continue to work hard on curating information to support us all, however the lack of available accessible information on how best to prepare ourselves is a concern that many have voiced to us.

Fundamental to the kaupapa of DLC is the ability to have open kōrero in our community about access and disability support, and feedback is currently that we need to have more kōrero around how we can support each other and prepare for the very real possibility of COVID-19 cases increasing here in Canterbury, and within the disability community.

We would like to invite you to join us this Wednesday morning, December 8th at 10.30 am to have an open conversation about how we can prepare ourselves for COVID-19 cases within our community. This is a late invitation and it is a very busy time of year but we feel that this topic is an important one to cover before we finish up for the year.
